Honda City New Face-lifted Version Launched

The Honda Siel Cars India launched the face-lifted version of the Honda City with some minor tweaks to sustain its position in our Indian market. However, the power hub hasn’t been changed and it remains the same for the new City, a 1.5-litre E10 compliant petrol engine producing 118PS of rated power. It also features Standard safety features like ABS, brake assist and dual airbags.

Exterior tweaks

  • Re-designed bumpers (both front & rear)
  • New set of Alloy wheels
  • New tail lights
  • Improvised ground clearance to 165mm (from 160mm in prev. gen City)

Interior tweaks

  • New comfy fabric seats
  • Center console
  • Eco-meter
  • Chrome finish


  • Electrical sunroof
  • Two new shades – Carnelian pearl red and Sparkling brown metallic
  • Corporate edition (All-black treated interiors)
  •  Turn indicators on ORVM

You can avail the new City range (ex-showroom Delhi) is:

  • Corporate MT – Rs. 6.99 lakh
  • E MT – Rs. 7.7 lakh
  • S MT – Rs. 8.2 lakh
  • V MT – Rs. 8.7 lakh
  • V AT – Rs. 9.42 lakh
  • V (Sunroof) MT – Rs.9.5 lakh
  • V (Sunroof) AT – Rs.10.22 lakh

Bookings will be started immediately, though the deliveries are likely to commence from the month of January, next year.

    Honda City is one of the best car in India, the new facelift looks very appealing. The exterior up gradation is really amazing. Now the makers should also go for interior upgradations like on-off buttons instead of ignition key, rear camera sensors etc.
