With the sky-rocketing petrol prices, already all the car manufacturers are in stake to push their products and with no surprise all of them are looking to invest in alternate fuel technology in our India along with the government intiativeness in making it happen.
So, let’s all welcome our Honda which has given a head start over this battle. The company which has no diesel lineups in their table to play with is currently going to come up with Diesel Brio around Diwali. Initially it was planned to launch the diesel variant by 2013, with the increasing diesel car demands and an all time hike in petrol price has pushed Honda to take this decision.
With the brio diesel taking up the torch and running on the track, will be followed by City and jazz in the near future. It seems the concern has already insisted the R&D to facilitate this launch and if it’s required they are ready to opt for a third party arrangement. However if it’s going to be a third party agreement, then we hope it’s going to bring the Fiat engines over their lineup temporarily to address our Indian market. So what is your take on us Honda?
As Brio is going to be the first diesel variant that is going to be launched in India, with the hopes hitting the higher grounds, will Honda will be able to deliver a better diesel product to our Indian market ? -Stay tuned with us to find out what’s happening around you.
